Boston (That Happened!) - First “The Iliad” and now “The Odyssey”, it seems like Brad Pitt enjoys the Greek poet Homer.
He played Achilles in “Troy” which was an adaptation of the epic poem “The Iliad” and now Variety says he is set to star in “The Odyssey” which is said to have been written by Homer as a sequel to “The Iliad”.
George Miller will take care of the adaptation and Pitt will produce this film which will be taken in the direction of a futuristic outer space.
“The Odyssey” follows Odysseus as he has the idea to build the Trojan Horse and his refusal to become a god.
Pitt has just begun shooting for Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglorious Basterds” and can currently be seen in “Burn After Reading”.
