New York (That Happened!) - The teen musical “High School Musical 3″ managed to take the top spot at the box office for the second week in a row.
HSM3 staring Vanessa Hudgens and Zack Efron, managed to earn $15-million this weekend, bringing it’s 10-day total to just over $61-million domestically.
“The target audience was out collecting candy or trick-or-treating Friday, but Saturday came back like a monster,” said Mark Zoradi, president of Disney’s motion-picture group.
Taking the second spot this weekend was the new Kevin Smith comedy “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” which earned $10.7-million.
Round out the top three was the horror movie “Saw V” which raked in an impressive $10.1-million.
