Los Angeles - Since the announcement in May that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was pregnant everyone has been waiting for the birth and now it’s finally happened.
Simpson-Wentz gave birth to a baby boy Thursday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Ashlee and husband Pete Wentz’s first child, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, weighed in at 7lbs 11oz and was 20½ inches long.
A spokesperson for the couple said “Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes.”
Wentz recently told PEOPLE that he has been looking to friend Joel Madden for advice on being a dad “Joel gives me advice. It has been really awesome for me to go to another person my age.”
Joel and girlfriend Nicole Ritchie have a nine month old baby name Harlow together.
