New York - According to reports, Patrick Swayze is losing his battle with caner.
The National Enquirer reports that cancer has speared to Swayze’s liver
“Patrick recently got word that the cancer had spread to his liver and that is what his doctors said would begin the countdown to the end,” a source told National Enquirer magazine.
“Patrick knew it was coming because he was suffering increased weakness. At times, he was so weak that he could barely walk without feeling faint. Sometimes he feels out of breath and has to sit down.”
The Enquirer says sources revealed that Swayze, 56, told Lisa, his wife of 33 years, and his brother Donny that he doesn’t have long to live.
“Lisa phoned Donny in Los Angeles and told him he need to come to Chicago, where Patrick has been filming TV show The Beast. She was crying and scared Donny to death,” a source said.
“Donny got the impression his brother was already on his deathbed because Lisa was saying Patrick wanted to say goodbye. She couldn’t stop crying.”
Despite being treated with revolutionary Cyberknife radiotherapy at California’s Stamford University Medical Center, it was thought that Swayze was making strides against the disease.
But since he finished filming ‘The Beast’ in October, where he has been putting in 12-hour days, he has been in decline physically despite trying to sound upbeat in an interview with the New York Times.
Swayze has been living life to the fullest, and even wrapped up filming on a new tv show called ‘The Beast’.
He recently told the newspaper: “I’m still fine to work, I haven’t changed - oh, I have changed, what am I saying? It’s a battle zone I go through. Chemo, no matter how you cut it, is hell on wheels.”

So sad - what a truly wonderful man. I knew his brother Donny in the 70’s, and the entire family is very close knit, “Salt of the Earth” type people. My heart goes out to all of them, and especially Patrick…..

Who doesn’t know the man, Patrick is a guy that never cutted it as a topactor. Although iv’e never believed that, that was his goal.
But still, its a true ” icon” in the filmindustry the world famou dirty dancing. I always found it fitting in the row ” grease” another great actor, travolta.
Its always hard to say goodbye to old times, im not that old tho, but as a child ive seen dirty dancing and other movies of Patrick.
I find it heroic the way he is handleing this all. Saying goodbye to the ones he loves. Still smoking his marlboro (doesnt matter anyways)
That you may find a very quick and peaceful death. Youre name will not be forgotten. That is something that you made sure of

My husband was told he has cancer the same time that Patrick did and was operated on and after a terrible fight lost the battle on September 14, 2008. I was hoping that Patrick was going tomake it a long time.
