That is, if you believe the rumors. Tom and Gisele have been dating for two years, so it was no big surprise to hear that Tom popped the question. Still, there is no sign of a ring on Gisele’s finger, and both Tom’s dad and Gisele’s twin sister claim to know nothing about it. In addition, officials in New Jersey could not confirm the flight, and no one close to the couple is talking. One also wonders; was Tom kneeling upon his injured knee?

The story is plausible, given the numerous sightings of the couple in jewelry stores lately and talk of a March 2009 wedding in Gisele’s homeland, Costa Rica.

Tom has had ample time to focus on his personal life since his injury in game one of this season. He has not been with his team on the sidelines, so we can assume he has been spending a lot of time with his bride to be.

Tom and Gisele may be keeping the engagement quiet to avoid distracting the Patriot’s from their play-off bid. Maybe Tom just is not engaged. Only time will tell if this is just buzz or the real thing.
