Chicago - The suspect in the Jennifer Hudson family slayings will remain in jail.
A judge decided that there was enough evidence to hold William Balfour in custody until a December 3 hearing.
Jennifer’s former brother-in-law has not been charged him with the murders, but he remains a "person of interest" in the October 24th murders of the actress' mother, brother and nephew.

New York (That Happened!) - Jennifer Hudson and her family finally had their chance to say good-bye to their family members that were brutally murdered on October 24th in her mother’s home in Chicago.
The private, invitation only, memorial service was held yesterday at a South Side Church.

New York (that Happened!) - Jennifer Hudson has set up a charity foundation in honour of her family members who were murdered last week.
"The specific purpose of the Foundation is to care for the needs of families who have lost relatives to a violent crime," the family said in a statement. "This encompasses their basic needs of food, clothing and shelter as well as grief counseling."

New York (That Happened!) - Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were found shot to death in their Chicago home Friday.
Hudson's seven-year-old nephew is missing as well.
Chicago police spokesman Dan O'Brien says the search for King is citywide. But on Sunday residents and officers are focusing their search efforts "in the immediate vicinity" of Hudson's home.
