Netflix has taken a further step to position itself as a meeting point for the console from Microsoft and multimedia content in it.k

New York (That Happened!) - While rumors about the arrival of a Blu-Ray drive for the Xbox 360 console is circulating the internet, Netflix has taken a further step to position itself as a meeting point for the console from Microsoft and multimedia content in it.

After announcing this summer that they would be responsible for carrying streaming movies and series to the Xbox 360, we know that with the next update of the console, the content you can get will be in high definition (HD).

Xbox Live users will now be able to download up to 300 video titles in high definition (series and movies) via a streaming service with Netflix. Until now, the content they provide Netflix with its partners was in standard definition.

To be eligible for this type of discharge, you will have an Xbox Live Gold account plus a subscription to Netflix.

Netflix hopes to to have as many as 12,000 videos available for streaming.
