former IBM employee Mark Papermaster, has accepted a job at Apple.

New York (That Happened!) - According to reports, former IBM employee Mark Papermaster, has accepted a job at Apple.  IBM has now sued to prevent the executive to join its rival.  Papermaster was IBM’s Vice President of Microprocessor technology but recently left his job and will start at Apple in November.

IBM noted that Mark PaperMaster, who was vice president of the unit Blade Development until last week, signed an agreement with the company that prevented him from accepting a post with a competitor until one year after leaving the company.

In the lawsuit filed in the District Court of Manhattan, IBM said that PaperMaster was one of the top 300 managers and that had much access to the company’s intellectual property and trade secrets.

“In his capacity as a member of the I&VT, Mr. Papermaster has gained access to confidential information concerning the company’s strategic plans, marketing plans and long term business opportunities, including the development of specific IBM products,” the company said.

PaperMaster, a 26-year IBM veteran, was a member of Team Integration and Values of the company since 2006.

Papermaster has yet to file a formal response.

If the News is true, the Mr.PaperMaster has to punished, because he is not a Nice Person, Since it is said most important details of the organisation were handled by PaperMaster, so he can theft or he can utilise for his own purpose , which is against the company’s laws since he is not a able person who jumped into the organisation without any answer,
but there would be some circumstances, if the reasons are valid and acceptable excuse can be permitted otherwise appropriate action should be taken

Under California law, overly broad anti-compete agreements are void,
    under the State’s Anti-Slavery and Anti-Peonage Laws.

That’s why you so often see deferred compensation deals:
If the former employer holds two or three years of your pay
and is supposed to be sending it to you, then it’s much more
likely that a non-compete agreement will hold.

If the news is true, Mr. Papermaster has to be punished. Since most important details of the organization were handled by Papermaster, he is able to steal and sell the information for his own purposes. ……… I didn’t understand the rest…..

Maybe focus on the story and not someone who is TRYING to comment in English so YOU can understand. How about not make fun on the guy for voicing his opinion. If you can’t understand it, move on, no need to be an ass about the whole thing.
